These graphics have been created with a variety of techniques.   I won't try to describe how I ended up with the background for this page.   I was experimenting with all the different filters I have at hand and ended up with this sponge-painted look.   However, I've been trying to keep track of how I created all the miscellaneous buttons, bars, and bullets I've used on the page, so feel free to duplicate anything you see here.  You won't find directions to create everything on this page, but you are welcome to use any graphics found here. Please do not link off of my server, instead right click on the graphic and save to your own hard drive or web server.

The above bar is 600x20.
A rectangular selection was made, approx. 600x10, and then flood filled with the background pattern.
Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel Filter was applied with the following settings:
Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34.

The above button size is 100x30.
The background color, medium purple, is R173 G123 B189.
Paint Shop Pro's buttonize filter was applied with settings:
Height=2, Width=2, Opacity=60, and Transparent Edge checked.
The text is Nadianne 9pt with a lt purple color, R198 G173 B206.
With the text still selected the following two PSP filters were applied:

The above bar was created with the font, Presswriter Symbols, using the letter combination "llYYYYYYll" at 12pt.
The foreground color was set to R198 G173 B206.
With the font still selected I applied the Eye Candy filter Swirl with the following settings:
Whirlpool spacing=5, Smear length=5, Twist=5, Streak detail=45, and both Warp and Smooth selected.
Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel filter was applied with the following settings:
Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34.

All of the above were created using the same technique on a blank canvas, size 100x100.
The arrows are all PressWriter Symbol fonts while the word, Home, is Nadianne font.
The fonts were left selected and then flood-filled with the background texture.
Then the Eye Candy Inner Bevel filter was applied with settings:
Bevel width=5, Bevel shape=button, Smoothness=2, Shadow depth=20, Highlight brightness=100, Highlight sharpness=70, Direction=120, Inclination=34.
